Karate is the main form of combat and this is nothing but an attacking art. It is the widely used combat techniques around the world. It features punching, kicking, knee and elbow strikes. The 3 main components of karate are kihon, kata, and kumite.

Kung Fu is the second known famous form of combat. This is somewhat critical to learn when compared to karate but efficient than the above. One interesting fact is that you can even fight with animals and dragons using this art.

Third known form is Jujutsu.  It uses a technique called as grappling technique and has Japan as its origin. This form of combat is more stylish then the other two though it is not widely used.

Judo is nothing but a direct form of Jujutsu. The main objective of this art is to throw the opponent to the ground or lock him without any moves further. Judo practices are divided into 2 groups and they are

Kata- pre-arranged attacks are used

Randori- this is based on free style attacks
